Shadow Play

I love this shot…all the black and white and strong shadows…you can almost get lost in the composition. Interestingly, in my sermon this past Sunday I spoke about shadow plays – black and white, little detail – and how the viewer (reader) has to fill in the visual and emotional details to that which is unfolding before oneself. This shot is very much like that. At first glance it just looks like a bunch of chairs and tables, but when you fill in the details and examine the textures you can see so much more. Terrific shot!
